Saudia Is Launching Direct Flights From Riyadh To Tokyo This November

Japan is about to get a little easier to reach from Riyadh.

Saudia is launching a new direct route between Riyadh and Tokyo Narita, with three flights a week starting this November. The first flight is scheduled to depart Riyadh on Monday, November 16, before the regular service settles into a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday schedule.

Straight From Riyadh To Tokyo

The new route will operate from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Narita International Airport in Tokyo, giving travellers a nonstop option between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

The regular Riyadh departures are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the flight taking around 10 hours and 25 minutes.

Saudia has already opened bookings through its digital channels and authorised sales outlets.

A New Link Between Saudi Arabia And Japan 🇸🇦🇯🇵

The route is being launched in collaboration with the Air Connectivity Program and the Saudi Tourism Authority, with the aim of strengthening travel between the two countries.

Beyond making trips to Japan easier from Riyadh, the new connection is also expected to support tourism, business, investment, trade and cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

The Saudi Tourism Authority is also working with Japanese travel agencies and tourism partners to promote Saudi destinations and develop travel packages for visitors from Japan.

Tokyo Is Joining Saudia’s Growing Network

The new route is part of Saudia’s wider international expansion. The airline currently serves more than 100 destinations, and says its network expansion is aimed at strengthening Saudi Arabia’s connections with international markets.

So if Tokyo has been sitting on the travel list, there’ll soon be a new nonstop option from Riyadh to get there.
