Good news for residents and citizens in Saudi Arabia looking to perform Hajj this year: applications for Hajj 2026 are now open! Starting Monday, February 23 (Ramadan 6), prospective pilgrims, both Saudi nationals and expatriates with valid residency permits can apply online through the Nusuk app or directly on the official website. Priority is being given to those who have not performed Hajj before, offering first-time pilgrims an early opportunity to join the 1447 AH season.
The Application Process:
Registration covers eligibility checks and account setup. Once you’ve created an account and filled in your details, you can verify eligibility and later choose your preferred Hajj package when bookings open on March 4 (Ramadan 15). Payments are made securely through the SADAD system, and a permit is issued once everything is completed.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old and meet approved health requirements to qualify. For expatriates, a valid residency permit is required, with priority given to those whose permits have been active for over a year. The Ministry has reminded prospective pilgrims that all contracts must be handled through licensed providers listed on the Nusuk platform to ensure a smooth and approved process.
With Ramadan already underway and Hajj preparations picking up pace, officials are encouraging interested pilgrims to register early and complete their steps as soon as possible through the official Nusuk channels.
